FEATHERS are recognized as sacred symbols in Native American tribes, and are recognized as symbols of prayer, honor, and strength. They are one of the most widely recognized symbols that we associate with Native American arts and culture.

FOX TURQUOISE Also known as the "Cortez Mine" the Fox Turquoise mine was at one time Nevada's largest producer of turquoise. While the first claim was filed in 1914 excavation in this mine dates back to prehistoric times. Found in both veins and nuggets Fox Turquoise can range in color from rich forest greens to soft baby blues.

Lydia Begay

Lydia Begay was born on the Navajo reservation town of Jeddito, in Arizona. Lydia is from the Red Water and Edge Water Clan, and she began silversmithing in her teenage years. Her father was a silversmith, and Lydia would watch him working as a child. Later she attended some classes on the reservation as well. Lydia loves what she does, and she respects her path in life.
