As the owner and operator of five turquoise mines in the southwestern USA, Sunwest Silver provides distinctive stone for our jewelry artists. We offer a signature Carico Lake Turquoise Collection featuring stunning Carico Lake Turquoise, sterling silver and gold designs in earrings, pendants, bracelets and necklaces, as well as concho belts and squash blossom sets.

The turquoise doesn’t stop there – whether you are an avid collector, producing your own jewelry or new to the turquoise addiction, Sunwest can supply you with the turquoise of your choice in handmade Native American jewelry, cabochons, chips and beads or rough.

Home to one of the largest turquoise collections in the world, the list of available stone include Carico Lake Turquoise, Fox, Royston, Bisbee, Kingman, Sleeping Beauty, Godber, Orville Jack, Number 8, Red Widow, Pixie, Candalaria, Campitos, Nacozari and more.

Sunwest Silver will also provide you with jewelry created with Red Coral, Spiney Oyster, Sugilite, Wild Horse, Gaspeite, and other traditional southwest stone. Our contemporary collections make use of a variety of precious and semi-precious stones from around the world.  Pearls, drusy, topaz, peridot, amythest… and cabochons in every color of the rainbow -Charoite and Seraphinite from Russia, fossils from Madagascar, and other unusual, beautiful minerals from around the world. Many of the varieties of cabochons we use in our jewelry are also available in our Rock Shop. Molly has been working with Sunwest Silver Co for 39 years. She began as a production silversmith, and has done pretty much every job there is to do at Sunwest Silver. Today, Molly manages all of our factories and contract casting services. Sunwest is the largest manufacturer of Sterling Silver charms & findings in the USA, with Contract Casting prices that are competitive with overseas.

Meet Angela Montoya, Buyer at Sunwest Silver Co. Angela works closely with her father Ernie Montoya, and together they are the buyers for Sunwest, working with over 300 Native American artists in the Southwest. Angela also manages the office.
